60 fresh cranberries, if desired

Tips:

  • Choose lean ground beef. A mixture of 80% lean ground beef and 20% ground pork is a good option, as it will provide a good balance of flavor and texture.
  • Season the meatballs well. A combination of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper is a good starting point. You can also add other herbs and spices to taste, such as thyme, rosemary, or oregano.
  • Mix the meatballs thoroughly. This will help to ensure that they are evenly seasoned and cooked.
  • Form the meatballs into small, uniform balls. This will help them to cook evenly.
  • Brown the meatballs in a skillet before baking them. This will help to develop their flavor and give them a nice crust.
  • Use a good quality cranberry glaze. A homemade glaze is always best, but you can also use a store-bought glaze if you're short on time.
  • Bake the meatballs until they are cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the meatballs hot, with additional cranberry glaze if desired.
