Tips:
- Use fresh cranberries: Fresh cranberries have a tart and juicy flavor that is perfect for this salad. If you can't find fresh cranberries, you can use frozen cranberries, but thaw them completely before using.
- Make sure the gelatin is completely dissolved: The gelatin is what gives this salad its firm texture. If the gelatin is not completely dissolved, the salad will be lumpy and not hold its shape.
- Chill the salad for at least 4 hours before serving: This will allow the salad to set and firm up. You can chill the salad for up to 24 hours in advance.
- Serve the salad with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream: This will add a touch of sweetness and richness to the salad.
