Tips:
- Measure Accurately: Use a kitchen scale to measure ingredients for precise results, especially for baking. It ensures the correct proportions of ingredients, leading to a successful cake.
- Prepare Ingredients Beforehand: Before starting, ensure all ingredients are measured, prepped, and at room temperature (unless specified otherwise). This helps the ingredients blend smoothly and evenly.
- Use Fresh Cranberries: Fresh cranberries provide a delightful tartness and natural sweetness to the cake. If using frozen cranberries, thaw them completely before using.
- Toast the Pecans: Toasting the pecans enhances their flavor and adds a delightful crunch to the cake. Keep an eye on them while toasting to avoid burning.
- Follow Baking Time and Temperature: Baking times and temperatures are crucial for the cake to set properly. Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
