Tips:

  • Use fresh cranberries. Fresh cranberries have a brighter flavor and more tartness than frozen cranberries. If you can, use fresh cranberries for the best flavor.
  • Chop the cranberries and cherries finely. This will help them to distribute evenly throughout the relish and make it easier to eat.
  • Use a variety of nuts. The nuts in this relish add a nice crunch and flavor. You can use any type of nuts that you like, such as walnuts, pecans, almonds, or pistachios.
  • Use fresh orange juice. Fresh orange juice adds a bright and citrusy flavor to the relish. If you don't have fresh orange juice, you can use bottled orange juice, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Make the relish ahead of time. This relish can be made up to 2 weeks ahead of time. This makes it a great option for holiday gatherings.

Conclusion:

This cranberry and dried cherry relish is a delicious and versatile condiment that can be used on a variety of dishes. It is perfect for Thanksgiving dinner, but it can also be used on sandwiches, salads, and even pancakes. The bright and tart flavors of the cranberries and cherries are sure to please everyone at your table.
