Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly butter one 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
- Whisk together the flour, pecans, granulated sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt and nutmeg in a large bowl. Whisk together the eggs, melted butter, buttermilk, brown sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl; stir in the mashed bananas. Fold the banana mixture into the flour mixture until just combined (it's OK if there are some lumps).
- Pour the batter into the buttered pan and lightly tap the pan on the counter to evenly distribute the batter. Bake until browned and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out completely clean, about 1 hour. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a rack to cool completely.

BANANA CORNBREAD
Having vegan friends in college forced me to find some recipes that are friendly to their choice if I wanted to entertain. This recipe is delicious whether or not you are vegan. I've made it with almond, rice, soy, and regular milk and they are all very similar to identical in flavor and consistency.

Tips:
- Use fresh cranberries. Fresh cranberries have a brighter flavor and more nutrients than frozen or dried cranberries.
- Don't overcook the cranberries. Overcooked cranberries will be mushy and lose their flavor.
- Use a good quality bread recipe. A good quality bread recipe will make a light and fluffy loaf of bread that will perfectly complement the tartness of the cranberries.
- Add some nuts or seeds to the bread. Nuts or seeds will add a nice crunch and extra flavor to the bread.
- Serve the bread warm with butter or honey. This will help to bring out the flavors of the cranberries and bread.
Conclusion:
Cranapana bread is a delicious and festive bread that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With its tart cranberries and sweet bread, cranapana bread is sure to be a hit at your next gathering.
