6 apples, split in 1/2
2 cups cranberries, (if not fresh, frozen is fine)
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf

1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
2 tablespoons sugar
1 (1-inch) piece ginger
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
