DAKOTA'S CRAB, TUNA & EGG SALAD
Another recipe from real cajun recipes. Submitted by Dakota Delcambre...she writes the following; Most Cajuns follow the tradition of not eating meat on Friday during the Lenton season. THE BEST TUNA SALAD
While we love many kinds of tuna salad, this classic version tops them all. The crispy celery and red onion give add zest and crunch, while mayonnaise and touch of mustard marry it all together. The lemon juice is optional as it's not traditional, but we strongly recommend it to brighten up the flavors of the final dish.

CRAB HOUSE TUNA SALAD
Steps:
- Combine all together. Refrig up to 3 days
Tips:
- Use high-quality tuna: Opt for solid white albacore tuna packed in water or oil for the best flavor and texture.
- Choose flavorful add-ins: Experiment with different ingredients to create unique flavor combinations. Some popular options include celery, red onion, hard-boiled eggs, pickles, and capers.
- Use a light hand with the mayonnaise: Too much mayonnaise can make the tuna salad heavy and greasy. Aim for a ratio of about 3 parts tuna to 1 part mayonnaise.
- Season to taste: Be generous with salt and pepper, and add other seasonings as desired, such as dill, parsley, or lemon juice.
- Chill before serving: Tuna salad is best served chilled, so make it ahead of time and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Whether you're looking for a quick and easy lunch or a hearty and satisfying dinner, this recipe is sure to please.
