Steps:
- 1. mix together cream cheese, drained crab, and worcestershire sauce. I use the block cream cheese. mixing can be a chore using hand utensils so I just get in and use my fingers to get a good mix
- 2. put mixture on plate or tray for serving and shape it into whatever fun shape you choose. just a plain round is easiest. I leave the mixture about 1 inch or a little more thick on the plate
- 3. pour bottle of seafood cocktail sauce completely over top ( if you have it available in your area the Beaver Brand out of Oregon is one of the best I've had ). Garnish as you choose, parsley always looks nice, sliced olives, you pick
- 4. serve with Ritz crackers for scooping and watch people try and figure out the ingredients

CRAB BALL
Steps:
- Take your cream cheese and place it in a bowl. Add 1 can or 1/2 cup of your crab meat (if you are using canned crab meat drain the water). Mix the crab meat and cream cheese together making sure the crab is evenly distributed thoughout the mixture. Form into a ball. Cover your crab ball with saran wrap. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours. Place on decorative dish and cover top of your crab ball with the cocktail sauce. For decoration you can sprinkle extra crab shaving on the top.
Tips:
- Use fresh crab meat for the best flavor. If you're using frozen crab meat, be sure to thaw it completely before using it.
- Don't overmix the crab balls. Overmixing will make them tough.
- Chill the crab balls for at least 30 minutes before frying them. This will help them hold their shape.
- Fry the crab balls in hot oil until they are golden brown and crispy. Don't overcrowd the pan, or the crab balls will not cook evenly.
- Serve the crab balls hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

So next time you're looking for a quick and easy recipe, give crab balls a try. You won't be disappointed!
