1/2 pound ground beef (, (85/15))
1 cup corn
2/3 cup Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup cheddar cheese (, shredded and divided)
1/3 cup whole milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup bacon (, cooked and crumbled)
32 ounces tater tots

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until browned.
  • Add the corn, cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup cheese, milk, sour cream, onion powder, black pepper, and bacon to the skillet and mix well.

1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 can (8-3/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
2/3 cup condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/3 cup 2% milk
2 tablespoons sour cream
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups frozen Tater Tots

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Stir in the corn, soup, 1/4 cup cheese, milk, sour cream, onion powder and pepper., Place 1 cup Tater Tots in a greased 3-cup baking dish. Layer with beef mixture and remaining Tater Tots; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, until bubbly, 20-25 minutes.

I Found this in Jonny Nix cook book.. I change this some and add to it.

12 medium potatos,sliced
3 medium red onions,diced
1 lb maple bacon
salt and pepper,to taste
2 c peas, frozen
2 c corn kernels, frozen
2 c cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. you will need a 14'deep dutch oven ( I use a cast iron ).. in the dutch oven brown bacon well ,use a slotted spoon remove bacon from oven.set a side and let drain.
  • 2. lightly brown onions in bacon greese. Add in potatos,salt and pepper. Cook 30-40 min untill taters are tender. stir in frozen peas,corn,and the bacon. add cheese on top cook on med heat for abought 10-15 min.with 15 coals on lid. remove from heat,remove coals from lid. serve with your favorite meat
