Tips

  • Choose the right ribs. Country-style ribs are cut from the pork shoulder, and they're known for their rich flavor and tender texture. Look for ribs that are meaty and have a good amount of marbling.
  • Prepare the ribs. Before cooking, remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. This will help the ribs to cook evenly and it will also prevent them from becoming tough.
  • Season the ribs. Season the ribs liberally with your favorite spices. A simple combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder is a good place to start.
  • Cook the ribs low and slow. Country-style ribs are best cooked low and slow. This will help them to become fall-off-the-bone tender. Cook the ribs at 225 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 hours, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Sauce the ribs. Once the ribs are cooked, you can sauce them with your favorite BBQ sauce. You can also glaze them with a mixture of honey, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard.
  • Serve the ribs. Country-style ribs can be served with a variety of sides, such as corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, or baked beans.

Conclusion

Country-style ribs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a casual get-together or a special occasion. By following these tips, you can make sure that your ribs turn out perfect every time.
