CORNFLAKE CHEWIES
This recipe came from a lady that goes to my church. She used to make these all the time & I am not kidding when I say that people used to fight over them. We would hide them so that no one else could have one. We would also get dessert first at church just so we knew we would have one. Just looking at the recipe will not let you know how good they are. You gotta make these. The recipe calls for crunchy peanut butter but if you prefer plain, go for it!

Tips:
- Use fresh cornflakes. Stale cornflakes will not hold their shape as well and will make the chews less crispy.
- Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the chews tough.
- Be careful not to overcook the chews. Overcooked chews will be hard and dry.
- Let the chews cool completely before cutting them. This will help them to hold their shape.
- Store the chews in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the chews for up to 2 months.
Conclusion:
Cornflake chews are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a batch of chews that everyone will love. So next time you're looking for a sweet and satisfying treat, give cornflake chews a try! They're sure to be a hit with family and friends alike.
