1 green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 lb lean ground beef
2 cups cooked shell macaroni (I use whole wheat)
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can cream style corn
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
salt and pepper
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Melt butter over medium heat, saute peppers and onions until soft.
  • Add ground beef to pepper and onion mixture and brown.
  • Add Macaroni to meat mixture along with remaining ingredients except shredded cheese. Mix thoroughly.
