I have split them up two to a recipe but if you want them all, there are 5 separate recipes. They are made from one basic cookie dough. I think some of them may be posted individually, but at Christmas I make the entire variety. Each batch of basic dough makes a batch of two of the cookies with the ingredients I have listed.

  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at the right temperature: The temperature of the oven will vary depending on the recipe, so be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
