Tips:

  • Use a variety of meats: Connie's recipe calls for ground beef and pork, but you can use any combination of ground meats you like. Some popular options include ground turkey, chicken, and lamb.
  • Don't overcook the meatballs: Overcooked meatballs will be tough and dry. Cook them just until they are cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  • Make sure the sauce is thick enough: The sauce should be thick enough to coat the meatballs and vegetables. If it's too thin, it will run off the meatballs and make them dry.
  • Serve the meatballs immediately: Meatballs are best served immediately after they are cooked, while they are still hot and juicy.

Conclusion:

Connie's Sweet and Sour Christmas Meatballs are a delicious and festive dish that is perfect for any holiday gathering. The meatballs are moist and flavorful, and the sauce is sweet, sour, and tangy. This dish is sure to be a hit with everyone at your table.
