Tips:

  • Use Granny Smith apples: They hold their shape well and have a tart flavor that pairs perfectly with the sweet caramel sauce.
  • Peel and core the apples before slicing them: This will make it easier to eat the apples and will help the caramel sauce to evenly coat them.
  • Make sure the caramel sauce is thick enough: It should be able to coat the back of a spoon and hold its shape when drizzled.
  • Don't overcook the apples: They should be tender but still hold their shape.
  • Serve the caramel apples warm or at room temperature: They're delicious either way!

Conclusion:

This colossal caramel apple dessert is an impressive and delicious treat that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your liking. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this recipe a try!
