COLE SLAW (WITH STEVIA)
My family loves cole slaw. Cole slaw can be healthy, but some has a lot of sugar & chemicals. We try to eat as clean as possible & limit our refined sugar intake, so I came up with this super healthy cole slaw. Low in sugar & high in fiber & nutrients. Our family & friends LOVE it! I hope you enjoy!

Steps:
- 1. Empty one bag of cabbage, onion & apple into a LARGE bowl. You need a LARGE bowl in order to mix everything up well. It will look like a lot, but after it sits for awhile, it shrinks way down.
- 2. DRESSING - Add all dressing ingredients to a medium bowl& whisk together until completely smooth. If dressing is a little thick, add a couple of teaspoons of milk to think it out.
- 3. Pour dressing over cabbage & mix until thoroughly coated. Add the remaining bag of cabbage & mix until all is thoroughly coated.
- 4. Refrigerate at least a few hours before serving, preferable overnight. Taste better the longer it sits.
THE BEST CREAMY COLESLAW
We made our cool, crunchy slaw with just the right amount of tang from sour cream and vinegar. A bit of honey balances the acidity. This classic summer side dish would be welcome at any picnic or backyard BBQ.

Steps:
- Toss together the cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, mustard, honey and celery salt in a medium bowl. Pour the dressing over the shredded vegetables and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Season with more salt and pepper before serving.
Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh vegetables and herbs will give your coleslaw the best flavor. If possible, use organic produce.
- Shred the cabbage and carrots thinly: This will help the coleslaw to absorb the dressing better.
- Use a variety of vegetables: Don't just stick to cabbage and carrots. Try adding other vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, or bell peppers.
- Make your own dressing: Store-bought dressings are often high in sugar and unhealthy fats. Making your own dressing is easy and you can control the ingredients.
- Let the coleslaw marinate: This will allow the flavors to meld together and develop.
- Serve the coleslaw chilled: Coleslaw is best served cold. You can chill it for at least 30 minutes before serving.
