Steps:
- Chop cabbage, carrot and onion into very small pieces, set aside.
- In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Add slaw and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. (Don't skip this step, the flavor needs time to set into the slaw).
- BTW, I like to make the dressing up and keep it in a squirt bottle in the fridge. When I use it, I have to microwave it a little to thin the honey, but it works since I always refrigerate the slaw before eating anyway.
- Also, when we're dieting, I use less than half the dressing and it's still quite good!

HONEY SOUR CREAM COLE SLAW
I created this recipe using ingredients on hand, & thought HONEY would make a sweet addition to the Cole Slaw instead of the usual sugar that I usually use. I thought blending the Mayonnaise with the Sour Cream would also be a great idea. I made this to go with Irish Sausage Sweet Peppers & onions, Recipe already posted here,...

Tips for Making the Best Coleslaw with Honey:
- Choose the right cabbage: Green cabbage is the most common type used for coleslaw, but you can also use red cabbage or a mix of both. Red cabbage will give your coleslaw a beautiful purple color.
- Shred the cabbage finely: This will help the coleslaw absorb the dressing better. You can use a food processor or a sharp knife to shred the cabbage.
- Add a variety of vegetables: In addition to cabbage, you can add other vegetables to your coleslaw, such as carrots, celery, bell peppers, and onions. This will add color, texture, and flavor to the dish.
- Make the dressing ahead of time: This will allow the flavors to meld and develop. You can store the dressing in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Toss the coleslaw gently: This will prevent the cabbage from getting bruised. Use a large bowl and toss the coleslaw with your hands.
- Serve the coleslaw chilled: This will help the flavors to come together and the cabbage will be more crisp.
Conclusion:
Coleslaw with honey is a refreshing and delicious side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With a few simple tips, you can make the best coleslaw with honey that everyone will love.
