1 cup frozen broccoli florets, steamed
1 cup Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
1 red or green bell pepper, cut into small chunks
2 medium zucchini, cut into 1/4 inch slices
2 tablespoons capers, drained (optional)
3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil

Tips:

  • Prep Ahead: Save time by cooking the pasta and vegetables in advance. Store them separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Choose Colorful Veggies: Use a variety of brightly colored vegetables to make your salad visually appealing. Aim for a mix of textures too, such as crunchy bell peppers, tender zucchini, and juicy tomatoes.
  • Make a Flavorful Dressing: The dressing is key to a delicious pasta salad. Experiment with different ingredients to create a dressing that suits your taste. For a creamy and tangy dressing, use Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Dressing as a base and add in some fresh herbs, lemon juice, or Dijon mustard.
  • Don't Overdress the Salad: Add the dressing just before serving and toss gently to coat the pasta and vegetables. Overdressing can make the salad soggy.
  • Serve Immediately or Chill: Pasta salad is best enjoyed fresh, but it can also be chilled for later. If chilling, let the salad come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.
