Tips:

  • Use high-quality coffee for the best flavor. A dark roast will give you a more intense coffee taste.
  • Don't overcook the sugar mixture. It should reach a light amber color, but not get too dark or it will burn.
  • Be careful when adding the baking soda to the sugar mixture. It will cause it to bubble up vigorously.
  • Work quickly when spreading the toffee mixture onto the crackers. It will start to harden quickly.
  • Let the coffee crisp cool completely before breaking it into pieces. This will help it to keep its shape.

Conclusion:

Coffee crisp is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover coffee and crackers, and it is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a sweet and satisfying snack, give coffee crisp a try. You won't be disappointed!
