Number Of Ingredients 10

1 c flour
1/2 c butter
2 eggs
1/2 c brown sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 c coconut

Steps:

  • 1. Combine 1 c flour, 1/2 c butter, and 1/2 c brown sugar to form crumbs and pat into buttered 9x13. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over crust. Bake 20-25 minutes. When cool, cut into bars.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh coconut and cream of coconut will give your bars the best flavor.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing will make the bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the bars before cutting: Chilling the bars will make them easier to cut and will help them hold their shape.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container: The bars will keep for up to 3 days at room temperature or up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Conclusion:

Coconut Dream Bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their creamy coconut filling and crispy graham cracker crust, they're sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet and satisfying snack, give these bars a try!
