COCOA PEBBLES (COOKIES)
This is a delicious NO BAKE cookie, with chocolate, peanut butter, and oatmeal. I recieved this recipe from a teacher when I was in the 4th grade, (about 1972), and it has been a favorite in our family since! I usually double (sometimes quadruple) the recipe, and I like extra oatmeal in mine.

COCOA PEBBLES CEREAL COOKIES RECIPE - (5/5)

Number Of Ingredients 10
Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Line four cookie sheets with parchment paper and set aside. 3. Combine margarine and sugars in the bowl of an electric mixer; beat until fluffy. 4. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth. 5. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix to combine. 6. With the mixer on the LOWEST setting, stir in Cocoa Pebbles. (If you prefer, you can do this by hand with a silicone spatula or wooden spoon.). 7. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. COOKIES WILL SPREAD, so make sure you leave sufficient space between them --I'd say about two inches. 8. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for 3-4 minutes on the tray, then remove with a metal spatula and allow to cool completely on a rack.
Tips:
- Use melted butter: This will help the cookies spread and create a chewy texture.
- Chill the dough before baking: This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
- Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
- Bake the cookies until the edges are golden brown: This will ensure that the cookies are cooked through.
- Let the cookies cool completely before frosting: This will help the frosting set properly.
Conclusion:
These Cocoa Pebbles cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their chewy texture, chocolatey flavor, and crunchy Cocoa Pebbles, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet snack, give these Cocoa Pebbles cookies a try!
