Time 25m

1 c butter or margarine softened
2/3 c sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 2/3 c all-purpose flour
1/4 c hershey's cocoa
1 c finely chopped pecans
9 oz hershey's kisses chocolates

Steps:

  • 1. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Stir together flour and cocoa; add in butter mixture, beating until blended.
  • 2. Add pecans; beat until well blended. Refrigerate dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to handle. Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • 3. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. Mold scant tablespoon of dough around each chocolate piece, covering completely. Shape into balls.

  • 5. Roll in powdered sugar. Roll in sugar again before serving, if desired. About 4-1/2 dozen cookies. Serve 8 persons.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality cocoa powder for the best flavor. Look for a brand that is labeled "natural" or "unsweetened."
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape.
  • Bake the cookies at a moderate temperature (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 10-12 minutes. This will help prevent them from overbaking.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before storing them in an airtight container. This will help them stay fresh and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Cocoa Kiss Cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With their rich chocolate flavor and soft, chewy texture, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give Cocoa Kiss Cookies a try. You won't be disappointed!
