CLERICOT RECIPE - (4.5/5)

Clericot Recipe - (4.5/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 manzana verde, 1 manzana roja y nueces picadas.

Time 2h15m

Yield Makes about 10 cups (fruit and liquid)

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 bottles dry white wine, like Sauvignon Blanc
1/4 cup brandy
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups sliced peaches
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup halved seedless grapes
Thinly sliced banana
Ice

Steps:

  • To make, combine wine with brandy, lemon juice, and sugar in a 3-quart pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then add peaches, strawberries, and grapes. Let chill at least 2 hours and up to overnight. Mix in banana just before serving. Pour into glasses filled with ice, and use a spoon to scoop the wine-soaked fruit into each one.

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh seasonal fruit. If you can't find fresh fruit, frozen fruit can be substituted.
  • Use a variety of fruits to create a complex and flavorful sangria. Some good choices include oranges, lemons, limes, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
  • Add a splash of your favorite liqueur or brandy to give the sangria an extra kick.
  • If you're making a large batch of sangria, prepare it ahead of time and let it chill for at least 2 hours before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Serve the sangria over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a slice of fruit or a sprig of mint.

Conclusion:

Clericot is a refreshing and flavorful punch that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. So next time you're looking for a delicious and festive drink, give Clericot a try!
