Categories     Condiment/Spread     Cheese     Appetizer     Bake     Quick & Easy

Yield 8 to 10 People

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 can or jar of quartered artichoke hearts - drained
1 package of frozen organic spinach - thawed and drained
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 package grated mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350. Mix all ingredients in an oven-safe bowl, saving some parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top. (I use a small dutch oven from Williams Sonoma.) Bake, covered, for 30 minutes, or until golden brown

Tips:

  • Choose fresh ingredients: The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your dip will taste. Look for fresh spinach and artichoke hearts, and use a good quality cheese.
  • Don't overcook the spinach: Spinach cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked spinach will be mushy and lose its flavor.
  • Use a food processor or blender to chop the ingredients: This will help to create a smooth and creamy dip. If you don't have a food processor or blender, you can chop the ingredients by hand, but it will take a bit longer.
  • Season the dip to taste: Once you've combined all of the ingredients, taste the dip and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, garlic powder, or onion powder.
  • Serve the dip warm: Spinach artichoke dip is best served warm. You can reheat it in the oven or microwave, or you can serve it straight from the stovetop.

Conclusion:

Spinach artichoke dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It's creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Whether you're serving it at a party, a potluck, or just as a snack, this dip is sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a crowd-pleasing appetizer, give this spinach artichoke dip a try. You won't be disappointed!
