EASY CLAM CAKES
Digging through my recipe file I came across this one. The card is well-used, so we must have liked them, but there are no notes on the card. I probably made these when we were first married and times were tough. But I'm going to try them again soon!

Tips:
- Use fresh clams: Fresh clams will give your patties the best flavor. If you can't find fresh clams, you can use frozen clams, but be sure to thaw them before using.
- Chop the clams finely: This will help them to distribute evenly throughout the patties and will make them easier to eat.
- Use a variety of seasonings: Old Bay seasoning, garlic, onion, and Worcestershire sauce are all classic seasonings for clam patties. Feel free to experiment with other seasonings that you like.
- Don't overcook the patties: Clam patties are best when they are cooked through but still slightly tender. Overcooking will make them tough and chewy.
- Serve the patties with your favorite dipping sauce: Tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and remoulade are all popular choices.
Conclusion:
Clam patties are a delicious and easy-to-make seafood dish. They are perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, and they can also be served as an appetizer. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy.
