Tips:

  • Use a variety of citrus fruits: Different citrus fruits will give your chicken a different flavor profile. For a sweeter marinade, use oranges or grapefruits. For a tarter marinade, use lemons or limes. You can also use a combination of citrus fruits to create a unique flavor.
  • Don't over-marinate the chicken: Over-marinating the chicken can make it tough and dry. For best results, marinate the chicken for no more than 24 hours.
  • Use a hot grill or skillet: A hot grill or skillet will help to sear the chicken and give it a nice crust. If you're using a grill, make sure the coals are hot before you start cooking.
  • Don't overcook the chicken: Overcooked chicken is dry and tough. To prevent overcooking, cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving: Letting the chicken rest before serving will help to keep it juicy. Let the chicken rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Conclusion:

Citrus-marinated chicken thighs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The citrus marinade infuses the chicken with flavor and helps to keep it moist and tender. Whether you grill, bake, or pan-fry the chicken, you're sure to enjoy this flavorful dish.
