Tips:

  • Choose the right cod fillets. Look for fillets that are firm and opaque, with no signs of bruising or discoloration.
  • Pat the cod fillets dry before cooking. This will help to prevent the fish from steaming instead of searing.
  • Use a hot skillet to sear the cod fillets. This will create a nice crust on the outside of the fish while keeping the inside moist and flaky.
  • Be careful not to overcook the cod fillets. Cod is a delicate fish, so it is important to cook it just until it is opaque throughout.
  • Serve the cod fillets immediately with your favorite citrus sauce.

Conclusion:

Citrus cod is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The bright, tangy flavors of the citrus sauce complement the delicate flavor of the cod, and the whole dish comes together in just a few minutes. Whether you are a beginner cook or a seasoned pro, you are sure to love this recipe.
