CHERRY FRUITCAKE
This fruitcake will not be bitter because it has no citron. I got it from a good friend's Mom in the 80's. When you slice it and hold it up to the light, there is very little cake, and it looks like stained glass. Many "fruitcake haters" have been won over by this cake.

Tips:
- Prepare Ingredients: Ensure you measure and gather all your ingredients before starting the baking process.
- Quality Ingredients: Use fresh and high-quality ingredients, especially the cherries and lemons, for the best flavor.
- Mixing: Avoid over-mixing the batter, as this can result in a tough cake. Mix only until the ingredients are well combined.
- Baking: Monitor the cake while baking and adjust the baking time if needed. Use a toothpick or skewer inserted into the center of the cake to check for doneness.
- Cooling: Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting or serving. This helps the cake set properly and prevents it from crumbling.
- Frosting: If desired, prepare the frosting while the cake is baking to save time. You can also experiment with different frosting flavors to complement the cake.
