1 cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
3/4 cup pecans pieces

Tips for Making the Best Cinnamon Streusel Pecan Coffee Cake:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the coffee cake will be. Look for fresh, high-quality butter, eggs, flour, and spices.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the batter, which will make the coffee cake light and airy.
  • Gradually add the eggs, one at a time. This will help to prevent the batter from curdling.
  • Mix the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl. This will help to ensure that they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three additions, alternating with milk. This will help to prevent the batter from becoming too thick or lumpy.
  • Spread the batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan. This will help the coffee cake to rise evenly.
  • Bake the coffee cake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the coffee cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Dust the cooled coffee cake with powdered sugar before serving. This will add a touch of sweetness and make the coffee cake look more festive.
