Tips:
- When making the cinnamon roll batter, be sure to not overmix it. Overmixing can result in a tough cobbler.
- If you don't have a 9x13 inch baking dish, you can use a 10-inch cast iron skillet or an 11x7 inch baking dish. Just be sure to adjust the cooking time accordingly.
- To make sure the cobbler is cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center of the cobbler. If the toothpick comes out clean, the cobbler is done.
- Let the cobbler cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will allow the filling to set and the cobbler to be easier to slice.
- Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
