Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients to ensure the best flavor. Fresh maple syrup and ground cinnamon will give your coffee cake an irresistible aroma and taste.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense coffee cake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use a light touch when measuring your flour. Too much flour can make your coffee cake dry and crumbly.
  • Bake the coffee cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Overbaking will dry out the cake.
  • Allow the coffee cake to cool completely before frosting. This will help the frosting to set properly.
