2 box (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c sugar, divided (1 cup and 1/2 cup)
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c butter, melted
cinnamon to taste

  • 5. Unroll the other tube of crescent rolls and place over the top of the cream cheese mixture in pan, stretching to fit.
  • 6. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 cup sugar mixed with a lot of cinnamon.
  • 7. Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes, until dough is browned.
  • 8. Cool and cut into squares. Good warm or chilled.

Tips:

  • Use room-temperature cream cheese. This will make it easier to mix and will help the squares be smooth and creamy.

  • Serve the squares with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include fresh fruit, whipped cream, or ice cream.
  • Store the squares in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
