CINNAMON BLACK TEA

Cinnamon Black Tea image

This particular recipe is inspired by the Middle Eastern cinnamon tea recipes I've seen on the internet. Those recipes used ONLY cinnamon for the most part, but I felt like this was just a bit too plain, so I added the black tea as a base. Anyway, it's good both hot and iced. Note: I've listed things in teaspoons because this website won't let me list it in parts, but it's technically in a ratio, so you can make whatever quantity you want.

Tips:

  • Use freshly brewed black tea. Stale tea will not produce as flavorful a cup of cinnamon black tea.
  • Use high-quality cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is considered to be the best variety, but any type of cinnamon will work.
  • Add honey or sugar to taste. Cinnamon black tea can be enjoyed plain or sweetened, depending on your preference.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick or a sprinkle of cinnamon powder. This will add a festive touch to your cup of tea.

Conclusion:

Cinnamon black tea is a delicious and healthy beverage that can be enjoyed hot or iced. It is a good source of antioxidants and has been shown to have a number of health benefits, including reducing inflammation, improving heart health, and boosting the immune system.
