APPLE CINNAMON WAFFLES
I just purchased a new waffle iron and am on a search for awesome waffle recipes. This is one I found on Mr.Breakfast.com. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family did. Any left over waffles would freeze well (OAMC). NOTE: You can also try adding different fruits and spices instead of apple and cinnamon. I added a couple fistfuls of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter and the grandkids flipped over them.

Tips:
- Use fresh apples. Fresh apples will give your waffles a more vibrant flavor and texture than apples that have been stored for a long time.
- Peel and core your apples before cooking them. This will help to prevent the waffles from becoming too mushy.
- Cook the apples until they are soft but still hold their shape. You don't want the apples to become mushy, but you also don't want them to be too crunchy.
- Use a waffle iron that is hot and well-greased. This will help to prevent the waffles from sticking and will also give them a nice, crispy texture.
- Serve the waffles immediately with your favorite toppings. Cinnamon-apple waffles are delicious with butter, syrup, whipped cream, or ice cream.
Conclusion:
Cinnamon-apple waffles are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or brunch recipe. They are perfect for a special occasion or a lazy weekend morning. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy a stack of fluffy, flavorful waffles that are sure to please everyone at the table.
