1 c applesauce and or chopped apple
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp parsley
1 c cold water
1/2 c veg. oil
5 c flour
1/2 c powdered milk
2 large eggs

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all of the ingredients-- kneed dough, add in small amounts oil or water if dough is to stiff. Roll out dough to desired thickness and cut into fun shapes using your cookie cutters. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until browned.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe apples. This will ensure that your treats are flavorful and moist.
  • Peel and core your apples before grating them. This will help to prevent the treats from becoming too mushy.
  • Be careful not to overmix the dough. Overmixing can make the treats tough.
  • Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch. This will help to ensure that the treats are cooked evenly.
  • Bake the treats at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
