Mix in onions, cheese and remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons cilantro. Spoon onion mixture over shrimp.
Tips:
- Use fresh, succulent shrimp: The freshness of the shrimp plays a crucial role in the overall taste of the dish. Opt for wild-caught or sustainably farmed shrimp whenever possible.
- Don't overcook the shrimp: Shrimp cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked shrimp becomes tough and rubbery.
- Marinate the shrimp: Marinating the shrimp in a flavorful mixture of herbs, spices, and oil not only enhances the taste but also helps tenderize it.
- Use a hot grill: A hot grill is essential for getting a nice sear on the shrimp and imparting a smoky flavor.
- Serve immediately: Grilled shrimp is best enjoyed hot off the grill. Serve it with your favorite dipping sauce or as part of a main dish.
