½ cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
¾ cup pumpkin puree
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts, divided
¼ cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 pinch ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one.
