Tips:

  • Use high-quality cream cheese. This will ensure that your mints are smooth and creamy.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature before using. This will make it easier to mix and will help to prevent lumps.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the dough tough and crumbly.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling and cutting. This will help to firm up the dough and make it easier to work with.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the dough. This will help to create clean, even edges.
  • Roll the dough out to a thickness of 1/4 inch. This will ensure that the mints are not too thick or too thin.
  • Use a cookie cutter to cut out the mints. You can use any shape of cookie cutter you like.
  • Place the mints on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. This will help to prevent them from sticking to the pan.
  • Bake the mints for 10-12 minutes, or until they are just set. Don't overbake them, or they will become dry and crumbly.
  • Let the mints cool completely before frosting them. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • Use your favorite frosting recipe to decorate the mints. You can use a simple glaze, a buttercream frosting, or a chocolate ganache.

Conclusion:

Christmas cream cheese mints are a delicious and festive treat that are perfect for any holiday gathering. They are easy to make and can be decorated in a variety of ways. With a little creativity, you can create a unique and personalized gift for your friends and family.
