Tips for Making Christmas Casserole Cookies II:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the cookies will taste.
  • Make sure the butter and cream cheese are softened to room temperature before starting. This will help them mix together more easily and create a smooth batter.
  • Don't overbeat the batter. Overbeating can make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting set properly.
