Tips:

  • Choose the Right Cut of Steak: Flat iron steak is a great choice for this recipe due to its tenderness and flavor. However, you can also use other cuts of steak, such as flank steak or skirt steak.
  • Use a Good Quality Rub: The rub is what gives the steak its flavor, so it's important to use a good quality rub. The recipe provided in the article is a great option, but you can also experiment with your own rubs.
  • Cook the Steak to the Desired Doneness: The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the steak and how you like it cooked. For a medium-rare steak, cook for about 4 minutes per side. For a medium steak, cook for about 5 minutes per side. For a medium-well steak, cook for about 6 minutes per side.
  • Let the Steak Rest: After cooking the steak, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.

Conclusion:

Chris Jericho's Rubbed Flat Iron Steak is a delicious and easy-to-make recipe that is perfect for any occasion. The steak is tender, flavorful, and juicy, and the rub gives it a delicious crust. This recipe is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
