Tips for Making Chorizo Bean Dip:

  • Use a good quality chorizo. A spicy, flavorful chorizo will give the dip a richer taste.
  • Don't be afraid to add some heat. A little bit of cayenne pepper or chili powder can give the dip a nice kick.
  • Use a variety of beans. Black beans, pinto beans, and kidney beans all work well in this dip.
  • Don't overcook the beans. They should be tender but still hold their shape.
  • Use a food processor to puree the beans until they are smooth. This will give the dip a creamy texture.
  • Add the chorizo, spices, and cheese to the food processor and pulse until well combined.
  • Serve the dip with tortilla chips, crackers, or pita bread.
  • Garnish the dip with sour cream, guacamole, and chopped cilantro.
