1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Unsweetened baking cocoa, if desired

2 cups chopped pecans
⅓ cup white sugar
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
½ cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1 ⅓ cups semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
4 egg yolks
¼ cup white sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup heavy cream
⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon brandy

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the pecans, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter and miniature chocolate chips. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool completely.
