CHOCOLATE ROYALE CHEESECAKE
I love cheesecake, and oreos. Now that they have new chocolate mint oreos, my cheesecake might just end up with some mint flavoring crust and a touch of peppermint extract. After all, there is nothing better than chocolate, except just maybe, chocolate and mint! This is a great, very rich cheesecake.

Steps:
- 1. Mix crumbs and butter, press into bottom and a little up sides of a 9" Springform pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 min.
- 2. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla with a mixer until well blended. Add chocolate, liqueur and eggs, mix just until blended and pour over crust. Bake at 325 degrees 55-60 min or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake right away, but cool before removing sides. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight (overnight is better). Garnish with sifted powdered sugar and mixed berries if you want.
- 3. If using a dark nonstick pan, everything gets made as above, but reduce oven temp to 300 degrees and bake 60-65 min.
Tips:
- Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. A semisweet or bittersweet chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60% is a good choice.
- Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before you start. This will help it mix smoothly with the other ingredients.
- Don't overbeat the cheesecake batter. Overbeating can cause the cheesecake to be dense and dry.
- Bake the cheesecake in a water bath. This will help prevent the cheesecake from cracking.
- Let the cheesecake cool completely before serving. This will help it set and firm up.
Conclusion:
This chocolate royale cheesecake is a delicious and decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It has a rich chocolate flavor and a creamy, smooth texture. The cheesecake is also easy to make, and it can be made ahead of time. If you are looking for a special dessert to impress your friends and family, this chocolate royale cheesecake is the perfect choice.
