Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the taste of your pretzels. Look for good-quality chocolate, peppermint extract, and pretzels.
  • Be careful not to overcook the chocolate. If you do, it will become thick and difficult to work with.
  • If you don't have a candy thermometer, you can use the microwave to melt the chocolate. Just heat it in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until it is melted and smooth.
  • Dip the pretzels in the chocolate one at a time. This will help to prevent the chocolate from getting too thick.
  • Sprinkle the pretzels with crushed candy canes or peppermint pieces while the chocolate is still wet. This will help them to adhere to the pretzels.
  • Let the pretzels cool completely before eating them. This will allow the chocolate to set and harden.

Conclusion:

These chocolate peppermint pretzels are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are also a great way to use up leftover chocolate and pretzels. So next time you have a sweet craving, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
