Tips:

  • Prep the chocolate properly: Before melting the chocolate, chop or grate it finely to ensure a smooth, even melt. Additionally, use high-quality chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60% for the best flavor.
  • Use creamy peanut butter: Creamy peanut butter creates a smooth, velvety texture in the bars. Natural peanut butter can also be used, but make sure to stir it well to achieve a smooth consistency.
  • Chill the peanut butter mixture: Chilling the peanut butter mixture before forming the bars helps it set more firmly and makes it easier to handle.
  • Use a lined baking pan: Lining the baking pan with parchment paper ensures that the bars come out cleanly and are easy to remove.
  • Cut the bars evenly: Use a sharp knife to cut the bars into even pieces. Dipping the knife in hot water and wiping it dry between cuts will help create clean, smooth edges.
