1 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, softened, divided
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
3 cups quick-cooking oats
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream 1 cup butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Combine the oats, flour, 1 teaspoon salt and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Press two-thirds of oat mixture into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. , In a large saucepan, combine the milk, chocolate chips, salt and remaining butter. Cook and stir over low heat until chocolate is melted. Remove from the heat; stir in walnuts and remaining vanilla. Spread over the crust. 1-1/4 cups quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
24 caramels
1/4 cup milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional

Steps:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat butter, uncovered, on high for 20-30 seconds or until softened. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt; stir into butter until blended. , Set a third of the mixture aside for topping. Press remaining mixture onto the bottom of an 8-in. square microwave-safe dish. Cook, uncovered, on high for 1-2 minutes or until crust is raised and set (crust will be uneven), rotating a half turn after each minute. , In a 1-qt. microwave-safe dish, heat the caramels and milk, uncovered, on high for 1 minute or until melted and smooth, stirring every minute. 2 cups packed brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 ½ cups quick cooking oats
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
