Tips:
- Use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the oat squares will taste. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the oat squares tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the oat squares until they are just set. If you overbake them, they will be dry and crumbly.
- Let the oat squares cool completely before cutting them. This will help them to hold their shape.
- Store the oat squares in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze them for up to 2 months.
