  • Lightly grease and flour large baking sheet (I sprayed with Pam).
  • In a small bowl, stir the eggs, instant coffee and vanilla until well blended; set aside.

  • For a harder biscotti, bake 5 minutes EACH side.

Tips:

  • Choose Fresh, High-Quality Ingredients: Always opt for the best quality ingredients, especially the chocolate and nuts, to ensure the best flavor and texture.
  • Measure Accurately: Follow the recipe measurements precisely to ensure the correct texture and flavor balance.
  • Properly Toast the Nuts: Toasting the nuts enhances their flavor and aroma. Make sure to toast them until they are fragrant and slightly browned.
  • Be Patient with the Dough: The dough might seem crumbly at first, but don't worry. It will come together as you knead it.
  • Chill the Dough: Chilling the dough before baking helps it hold its shape better and prevents spreading.
  • Bake at the Right Temperature: The oven temperature and baking time are crucial for achieving the perfect texture. Follow the recipe instructions carefully.
  • Let the Biscotti Cool Completely: Allow the biscotti to cool completely before slicing and serving. This will help them firm up and develop their full flavor.

Conclusion:

These Chocolate Nut Biscotti are a delightful treat that combines the richness of chocolate with the crunch of toasted nuts. With a crispy exterior and a chewy interior, they are perfect for dunking in coffee or enjoying as an afternoon snack. They also make a wonderful gift for any chocolate lover.
