1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest (from 1 medium orange)
1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup hot caramel ice cream topping

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring the water, rice and salt to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until rice is tender. Add dates and milk; cook and stir for 10 minutes.
