Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your sticks.
  • Be careful not to overcook the sugar mixture. It should reach a temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit (149 degrees Celsius). If you cook it too long, it will become too thick and difficult to spread.
  • Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly before spreading it on the wax paper. This will help to prevent the chocolate from cracking.
  • Be patient when cutting the sticks. If you cut them too soon, they will be crumbly. Let them chill for at least 2 hours before cutting.
  • Store the sticks in a cool, dry place. They will keep for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Chocolate mint sticks are a delicious and easy treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for parties, holidays, or any other special occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make these tasty treats in the comfort of your own home.
